HI, I'M DEAN WALTERS

For most of my life, I was known for my voice—performing opera, teaching voice, conducting choirs. But after several physical traumas and surgeries, I found myself in a new role: patient, survivor, and student of my own body.

What started as a personal journey to heal, became a professional mission to help others do the same. I became a certified health coach and personal trainer specializing in older adults; people who, like me, weren’t ready to give up just because a few joints started squeaking.

Q: Do I need to get on the floor?

A: Nope! All movements and stretches can be done standing or seated.

Q: What if I've had a joint replacement or arthritis?

A: This course is designed to be gentle, adaptable and safe.* (If you've had a hip or knee replacement, just be sure to have your health care provider's 'OK' before you begin this or any exercise program).

Q: How soon will I feel results?

A: Most people notice improvements within 1-2 weeks with consistent practice. Some, even sooner!

Q: Do I need special equipment?

A: Just a chair, some comfortable clothes, some space, and your commitment to move. Light weights or resistance bands are a great addition, but not mandatory.
